вот что в логе .
а nmbd запускается номано
подскажите чё делать ?

Другой процесс уже использует этот порт. Посмотри в /etc/inetd.conf или /etc/xinetd.conf, не стартует ли какой процесс на этом порту, или загрузочные сценарии надо копать.

Такое ощущение, что самба сначала лочит порт, а потом пытается его открыть.
Что nmap говорит?

а можно где нитьглянуть правильные inet.conf и services
может я там чето напутал

Так чем дело кончилось у меня такая же трабла!!!
smbd в процесах нет!
nmbd на месте.
И еще:

дело говоришь,у меня тоже не запускается
