Работает через ADSL, соединение устанавливаю через mpd
194.85.128.10 и 194.85.129.80 - DNS сервера.

Приходится килять и запускать заново и mpd и squid.

/boot/loader.conf:
kern.ipc.nmbclusters="4096" #Set the number of mbuf clusters
kern.ipc.nmbufs="16384" #Set the number of mbufs = 4 * nmbclusters  

Подскажите куда копать?

нужно увеличивать параметры ядра, какие не знаю, я не юзаю freebsd

Все почитал, буферы увеличивал, не помогло.

Нашел рекомендацию:
В mpd.links должна присутствовать строка set pptp disable windowing.

Прописал, пробую.
