помогите соединить две CISCO...

сделал, как учят доки на cisco.com:

на одной:
interface Serial0/1
physical-layer async
ip address 10.0.1.2 255.255.255.252
encapsulation slip
async mode dedicated
async default routing
peer default ip address 10.0.1.1  
line 2
stopbits 1
speed 19200  

на другой:
interface Serial0/1
physical-layer async
ip address 10.0.1.1 255.255.255.252
encapsulation slip
async mode dedicated
async default routing
peer default ip address 10.0.1.2
line 2
stopbits 1
speed 19200  

порт поднимается протокол поднимается а пинги не идут... в чем может быть проблемма?

Покажи на обоих рутерах:

извините за беспокойство... проблемы в кабеле(проблема решена), но всё равно для чего последняя команда?

Состояние интерфейса на уровне 1.
show controllers serial 0/1 - еще в ту же кучу
