It's been reported that the dns resolver libraries in several UNIX varian=
ts
are vulnerable to a buffer overflow attack.

SGI has investigated the issue and has determined that IRIX 6.5 is not
vulnerable to this problem.
No corrective action is required on IRIX 6.5 systems.
This vulnerability has been assigned the following CVE:
