+------------------------------------------------------------------------+

EnGarde Secure Linux is an enterprise class Linux platform engineered
to enable corporations to quickly and cost-effectively build a complete
and secure Internet presence while preventing Internet threats.

OVERVIEW
- --------
An SSL/TLS testing suite developed by the NISCC (UK National
Infrastructure Security Co-Ordination Centre) uncovered ASN.1 parsing
vulnerabilities in OpenSSL. Exploitation of these vulnerabilities may
result in a denial of service.

More information on these vulnerabilities may be found at the following
  URLs:

    http://www.uniras.gov.uk/vuls/2003/006489/tls.htm
    http://www.uniras.gov.uk/vuls/2003/006489/openssl.htm
    http://www.openssl.org/news/secadv_20030930.txt

The Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures project (cve.mitre.org) has
assigned the names CAN-2003-0543 and CAN-2003-0544 to these issues.

Guardian Digital products affected by this issue include:

    EnGarde Secure Community v1.0.1
    EnGarde Secure Community 2
