Use ttmkfdir (check freshmeat.net) to a fonts.dir file. -- you may like to edit /etc/X11/xinit/xinitrc to have it "startkde" -- or "gnome-session" instead of twm. -- note, /usr/include/GL should be a symlink to /usr/X11R6/include/GL |
Specifying "nvidia" for the driver in the XF86Config makes that take effect each time you startx. But the NVdriver kernel driver will have to be loaded each time your system boots using:
