NAME

     lmstart - starts the FLEXlm license daemons used by MATLAB



DESCRIPTION
     lmstart is a shell script  that  shuts  down  any  currently
     running   license   daemons  using  lmdown  and  starts  (or
     restarts) the  license  manager  and  vendor  daemons  using
     lmboot.  To get started type at the Unix shell prompt in the
     $MATLAB/etc directory:

                         lmstart -help

     This man  page  is  under  construction  and  the  completed
     version will be a available in a future release.
