NAME sdtfpadd - add a font path element sdtfpls - list font path elements in a comma separated list sdtfprm - remove a font path element SYNOPSIS /usr/dt/bin/sdtfpadd [ -e topdir ] position font_path_element /usr/dt/bin/sdtfpls [ -e topdir ] /usr/dt/bin/sdtfprm [ -e topdir ] font_path_element DESCRIPTION A running Solaris desktop has an associated font path which is simply a list of directories which are searched sequen- tially for fonts (much as the shell uses the PATH environ- ment variable to find commands). These commands are to be used to view the current font path and to modify the font path which will be used on future invocations of the desk- top. These commands are available with, and affect, the OpenWin- dows environment. sdtfpadd Adds the specified element to the font path. This command is available only to the superuser. The specified element is added to the font path of the copy of OpenWindows installed in /usr/openwin by default. The values for posi- tion are "first", "last" or a positive integer, indicating into which position in the font path the new element should be inserted. sdtfpls Lists elements in a font path. Each element is separated by the comma character. If the user is the superuser, the font path of the OpenWindows installation in /usr/openwin is listed by default. sdtfprm Removes an element from the font path. This command is available only to the superuser. The specified element is removed from the font path of the OpenWindows installed in /usr/openwin by default. OPTIONS -e topdir Meaningful only if the user is the superuser. The font path of the OpenWindows installation in directory topdir is listed or modified depending on the command. FILES /usr/openwin/server/etc/OWconfig - OpenWindows font path setting $HOME/.OWfontpath - personal font path setting SEE ALSO sdtfontadmin(1), sdtfont_utils(1), xset(1)
