Sir,<br> I am writing this from Thrissur,Kerala state,India.We are using Nortel networks RAC8000 for providing internet service . But there is some problem with the DSP modems.Some times the user has to dial 5 to 6 times to complete handshaking.Most of the users have only analogue modems with speeds 33.6Kbps or less.Is there any way the DSP modems inside RAC8000 configured to work with a beginig speed of 33.6Kbps.I had equested help from M/s Nortel Networks but no reply has come so far.<br>I am sorry if I am coming inside a closed group.I dont understand the language(Russian?).<br>Thanks anyway<br>Madhu | |

This happens even during handshaking. So you must ignore DSR on your modems. | |
