Вопрос - а что в дебиане нет пакетов для 3-й ветки мускула?

2.4.18-bf2.4

просто поставил через apt-get install postfix-mysql стал, без особых проблем. mysql сервер стала четвертка, вот только в зависимостях на postfix наличествует именно либы на трешку. пока поменял на 4-ку, но эффект тот же:
