В документации по cisco3550 написанно: Supported VLANs The Catalyst 3550 switch supports 1005 VLANs in VTP client, server, and transparent modes. VLANs are identified with a number from 1 to 4094. VLAN IDs 1002 through 1005 are reserved for Token Ring and FDDI VLANs. VTP only learns normal-range VLANs, with VLAN IDs 1 to 1005; VLAN IDs greater than 1005 are extended-range VLANs and are not stored in the VLAN database. The switch must be in VTP transparent mode when you create VLAN IDs from 1006 to 4094. VTP "выбрасываем" сразу (т.е. ставим vtp mode transparent) и у нас появляется возможность использовать VLAN IDs from 1-1000, 1006 - 4094 (Extended-Range VLAN), но это не значит что я могу поднимать все 4094 vlan'а на 3550, реально все равно можно держать только 1000 ? p.s. #sh vtp status VTP Version                     : 2 Configuration Revision          : 0 Maximum VLANs supported locally : 1005 Number of existing VLANs        : 1005 VTP Operating Mode              : Transparent VTP Domain Name                 : VTP Pruning Mode                : Disabled VTP V2 Mode                     : Disabled VTP Traps Generation            : Disabled MD5 digest                      : 0x59 0x0F 0x0C 0x93 0x68 0xEF 0x06 0xA7 (config)#vlan 1008 (config-vlan)#exit Proposed configuration has too many VLANs for this platform. (config)#sdm prefer ?   access          multicast and qos/acl bias, drop unicast   extended-match  Using extended match for unicast routing   routing         unicast bias, drop qos/acl   vlan            vlan bias, drop routing

	мда... не берет такой способ... Switch#sh sdm prefer The current template is the vlan template. The selected template optimizes the resources in the switch to support this level of features for 8 routed interfaces and 1K VLANs. number of unicast mac addresses:   8K number of igmp groups:             1K number of qos aces:                1K number of security aces:           1K number of unicast routes:          0 number of multicast routes:        0 т.е. теперь только mac'ов можно больше гонять и все... что же делать, никак? ;)
