Сразу скажу я начинающий пользователь Линукса.
Состав оборудования и софта:

Вообще все имеем 800х600.
Помогите моим глазам!!! Что я делаю неправильно ?

2. Звуковая карта

Модуль грузится intel8x0. Выдает ошибку при загрузке FATAL: Error running install command intel8x0

Замечено следущее
С самого начала на ядре 2.6.11 звук встает и работает нормально!
Для эксперемента было взято не FC4 ядро с www.kernel.org
2.6.13 тоже собирается но ошибка та же, а в 2.6.11 не работает wi-fi.

Помогите побороть проблемму!!!
Здесь в форуме было написано что нужно пересобрать ядро без поддержки интел модема в ядре, если в этом причина, ткните плиз где это отключается
потому что чего-то я этого не нашел make menuconfig -> device manager -> ???
